8th Grade LA Students

Mr. Puricelli's 8th grade LA students faced off in debates about topics in the novel, Animal Farm. Examples: Was Snowball a better leader than Napoleon? vs Was Napoleon a better leader that Snowball would have been? The animals on Animal Farm are free under Napoleon's rule vs. The animals on Animal Farm are slaves under Napoleon's rule. Students created opening statements, arguments, rebuttals, and closing statements to defend their topic!
