My name is Mrs. Chelsea Giunta. I have been teaching for the past 10 years with my certifications in both Elementary Education and Special Education, with a license in School Counseling as well. I am also a third year parent here at ICS with two little boys, ages 3 and 5. As both a parent and educator here at our school, I am truly grateful to be a part of your child’s preschool experience.
In my classroom, I emphasize the development of both fine and gross motor skills, which will be integrated into our daily routines. Activities like cutting, tearing, gluing, and beading will help strengthen fine motor abilities, while creative movement such as jumping, running, and climbing will support the growth of gross motor skills.
As a Catholic-centered program, I incorporate faith into every aspect of our day, fostering a loving and caring environment. Throughout the year, I also focus on key skills and concepts such as classification, sorting, pre-reading, and self-help--ensuring that your child is well-prepared for future learning.
I look forward to an amazing year of learning and development with your child! Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
